createGuestList
Creates a guest list: a batch of single-use codes, each good for one free ticket of one ticket type.
GuestList has a walk-through from picking the ticket type to redeeming a code. CreateGuestListInput
says what each field accepts and which error code a rejected value responds with. Invalid input is
rejected before anything is written.
The codes are generated in the background. The mutation waits for that to finish, so the list it
resolves to normally has all its codes. If it responds with GuestListCreationTimeout instead, the
list may still have been created. Look it up with Query.guestList before you try again. Trying
again creates a second list.
Authorization is required: you must be allowed to manage the guest lists of the company that owns the ticket type, and Eventjet must have enabled guest lists for that company. Permission to manage discount codes is not enough.
mutation CreateGuestList($ticketTypeId: ID!) { createGuestList( input: { ticketTypeId: $ticketTypeId name: "Hall 3 exhibitors" numberOfCodes: 200 } ) { guestList { id numberOfCodes } } }mutation CreateGuestList($ticketTypeId: ID!) { createGuestList( input: { ticketTypeId: $ticketTypeId name: "Hall 3 exhibitors" numberOfCodes: 200 } ) { guestList { id numberOfCodes } } }
